A Report on the Premiere of the Restored "Jean Goldkette on Tour" Film

The premiere of the film shot by Charles Horvath in the fall of 1926 took place in Davenport on June 6, 2004.  A complete account of the festivities is given in the June 2005 issue of the American Rag. The proofs were practically error-free. The following minor corrections were incorporated in the  published version.

1. In p 7, paragraph 3, there is an extra end of quote
after 3-1/2.
2. In p. 7, paragraph 4, there is extra space between
Hans (line 3 of the paragraph) and Eekhoff (line 4 of
the paragraph. Right now, it looks as follows
For nearly 40 years, the film laid
dormant in the museum collection.
Early in 2004, Hans
Eekhoff, Bixophile extraordinaire
and record collector and restorer,
It should read as follows
For nearly 40 years, the film laid
dormant in the museum collection.

3. p. 9, list of musicians, Duffee is misspelled: two
 "fs" are needed.
